When the Earth Meets the Sky

I have always been interested in painting scenes of the prairie and vistas without horizons. I grew up in Colorado, surrounded by the flatlands to the east and the mountains to the west. Sometimes, I would feel boxed in when I was in the mountains, the prairie gives me space to move in, so I created this scene with atmospheric perspective in mind.
