This piece is full of color, with the vibrant background, to the color changing lights of the cassette tape, to the charisma of the popular music icon, Michael Jackson. This piece was made for a wood scroll saw competition with the theme of music. Because I liked so many different kinds of music, it was hard to pick just one...so I decided to do the #1 hit song on the day that I was born (January 6, 1988) which was "The way you make me feel" by Michael Jackson. The song paired the vibrant color choices of the 80s/90s as well as the classic cassette tape and the pencil, is what makes this piece such a show stopper! It is completely hand cut and made out of wood, with layers of details. Toe-tap along to the song while you change the color of the cassette tape to all the different color options.
