The Spirit of Spring

In the shadow of cancer, my father found a glimmer of hope in his garden… tending to his plants brought a radiant smile to his face, as if the flowers soothed his suffering…the Spring blossoms, especially tulips, held a special place in his heart, their vibrant hues mirroring the zest for life he maintained until his final breath…every Fall, I plant a hundred bulbs in his honor, eagerly awaiting that magical moment in May when the first blossom unfurls, releasing my father’s spirit to watch over my garden as it is flooded with a wave of color…a renewed brightness that lightens my soul
