Take Me Away

"Take Me Away" is a multimedia painting - inspired by Van Gogh's 'Starry Night'. This piece depicts the normal path - a road along the ground, with Van Gogh's iconic sunflowers towering on both sides. This is symbolic for my path as an artist, and as a human. I started off my adult life working in a bank, choosing the normal path, and slowly have shifted every piece of my life - now every day is filled with art & meaning. I chose to leave the stable paychecks & benefits, for something worth living for. Changing the world, bit by bit, with art.... Helping other artists grow & learn along the way.

Some of us choose to take the road less traveled; you may notice a UFO - beaming up an astronaut sporting a peace sign. This is our space suited friend's pivotal moment; leaving the main road for a path less travelled. What will your path in life be?
