Into the Badlands

When my wife and I were headed back to Sioux Falls from Colorado early in our marriage, about 23 years ago, we drove through the Badlands and came upon this scene. There was a natural pathway into the sand we stopped for a hike. When I got home, I painted the picture with pastels. This entry is a print of the original painting.
