Floral Peace

To me, nature has always been the purest form of artistic expression. Since the dawn of time, human beings have been enamored with everything nature has to offer- landscapes, mountains, animals, plants. Everything that humans create was originally inspired by the natural world.

One million flowers could be planted and no two of them would be exactly alike. I find watercolor to be a perfect medium for works inspired by nature, because the flow of water is, in itself, a natural process. There is an unpredictability to the creation of a watercolor painting that not only excites me as an artist, but also as a viewer.

Nature provides an endless well of inspiration which will never run dry.
